President's Message - April 1, 2022

Why is it that we dedicate one day out of the year to keeping a watchful eye on email, news, and websites? Shouldn’t we treat every day like it’s April Fools Day when clicking on a link or an attachment? This day helps people develop a good dose of skepticism that is needed when dealing with others on the internet. Sure, there is training or scheduled phishing attempts to catch the unwary but we have all been in the situation where a name looks familiar, the message looks real and there are million other things on our mind. You know the one. You clicked the link. You and the organization got lucky this time but you see how easy it can happen. Keep your guard up today and every day!
