Here comes Halloween! There is a risk, taking candy from strangers but we do our best to reduce these risks by going to the good neighborhoods, checking the candy, and taking random samples (parent tax). The same basic principles can loosely be applied to cybersecurity. There really are no good neighborhoods on the internet so you need to keep your guard up. Checking phishing emails, network traffic, and training users is the closest to checking the candy. Finally, testing your users both with digital and physical security along with good cyber security will go a long way to protect your sensitive information.
